They were in England, so the British accent was a given and she managed to do a noble men and peasant accents well enough, but there were supposed to be a French, an Arab, and an Irish as well and those were poorly done in my opinion, and that spoiled the story for me a bit. The narrator (Isabella Clarke) was excellent as the voice of Esther, but she messed up the male voices, and at times I think she forgot their voice was supposed to be masculine and used her normal voice. However, the main focus here is monster smut, lots of different sizes, colours and shapes for the male 🍆, and not only Esther gets to enjoy their monsters on page. There is some drama with another lady that doesn't appreciate her clients as much as Ester does and, some major drama with some evil being that wants to destroy things. She is VERY thirsty and gets on with 5 "gentlemen". Esther is a maid who looses her job and ends up in a high-end, monster brothel. Unfortunately, the audiobook was not as good as the kindle version, all because of the narration. Rooksgrave Manor’s protections for its unusual patrons are failing, the wards are crumbling, and Esther’s new and exquisitely pleasurable life may all come tumbling down. But the risk of disappointing her new gentlemen isn’t all that’s threatening Esther’s new position. Temptations lurk around every shadowy corner and Esther has never been a girl able to resist. There are rules to be followed, expectations to meet, and Esther is afraid she might be too wicked even for a place like Rooksgrave.
